Climate Change Threatens U.S. Estuaries

The Waquoit Bay Reserve is located on the south shore of Cape Cod Massachusetts, on the border of the towns of Falmouth and Mashpee.
The USA's 28 National Estuarine Research Reserves are experiencing the negative effects of human and climate-related stressors.  A national study points to three East Coast reserves as the most sensitive to climate change.  Waquoit Bay NERR in Massachusetts is the most northerly.
